At Koekela, you can order cake online and pick it up at our bakery in Rotterdam or The Hague, or have it delivered. Cheesecake, carrot cake, brownies, cookies, and scones: we bake everything ourselves, from scratch, using real ingredients. You can also order gluten-free pastries and plant-based cakes in our webshop.

Koekela started as an American-style bakery in Rotterdam and still bakes according to our own recipes: the carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, the cheesecakes, the brownies, and the cookies all come fresh from our own oven. Our bakeries & cafés in Rotterdam and The Hague

Open 7 days a week

Koekela has two American-style bakeries with cafés: on the Nieuwe Binnenweg in Rotterdam and on the Laan van Nieuw Oost-Indië in The Hague. Order your cake or pastry online and pick it up, or pull up a chair for a cappuccino and a slice of cheesecake or carrot cake. Take brownies, bars, and cookies to go. The smell of freshly baked cookies greets you the moment you step inside.

Have cake delivered in Rotterdam, The Hague and surrounding areas

100% electric, from €35

Do you want to have cake delivered in Rotterdam or The Hague? We deliver our pastries to your home or office with our 100% electric vans. We deliver from Monday to Friday, for orders from €35. Delivery costs are €6.50. Delivery is free on orders of €125 or more in the Rotterdam area, and on orders of €100 or more in The Hague area.

We also deliver to Schiedam, Vlaardingen, Voorburg, Leidschendam, Wassenaar, and Voorschoten — view the full delivery area and postcodes.
